Cuyahoga County Workforce Development was created to establish education and training systems that prepare adults, dislocated workers and youth for worthwhile and sustainable employment, especially recognizing the workforce needs of area employers and economically disadvantaged individuals. Helpful Links: Cash Assistance: Ohio Works First is a program that offers aid in obtaining employment and time-limited financial assistance to needy Ohio Families.
The services offered by the Department of Workforce Development are available to any resident of Cuyahoga County. These services are available from the Countys One Stop Career Center and from six career centers located throughout the County.
EFS provides Career Centers in each of our Neighborhood Services Center. These public training centers are available for your use.
